Meet April Fried, creative maven, owner and C.E.O. of Atomic Accessories, a Las Vegas based beauty branding and innovative product distribution company: founded 2005. Prior to launching “Atomic” April’s professional experience ranged from Technologies Media Developer and WebPersonality to America OnLine's Digital City, Washington DC to CBS News, on-air reporter (Washington,DC) for her same name segment “April Does DC”
April’s passion for discovery, social trend, and fashion; continue to bring her International acclaim. Her hard hitting sales abilities are eagerly sought by corporate America. Ms Fried is a recognized and acclaimed flâneur in the arenas of product branding and marketing. April is called upon to write for many professional trade magazines and is a city reporter for various publications bringing her savvy ability for “finger-on-the-pulse” trend and ,cutto- the-chase ideals.
In 2007, April founded the Las Vegas Independent Beauty Professionals Association, which through community participation and her knack for creating, "unconventional alliances", has brought positive change to the Las Vegas Professional community. Her background "In-Salon" education, distribution and unsurpassed client support makes April prime for leading the voices of the collective community, and continue it's success for years to come.
April has a legacy paved with success. Her family's forty year involvement in the professional beauty industry, establishes April as a trusted and privileged “industry insider”: allowing her to translate market innovation into successful new beauty services, made possible with spirited new product development and superior education.
April Fried was born in Southern California and currently makes here home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her lust for living and hard work has enabled her to travel and work extensively throughout North America, the U.K. and the E.U.: like her role model Helen Gurley Brown, April effortlessly addresses the fears and aspirations of America’s often ignored working-class women. Flâneur: French verb, "a person who studies/roams the city/world in order to experience it". In economic, cultural, literary and historical fields, the idea of the flâneur has accumulated significant meaning as a referent for understanding urban phenomena and modernity.
